Danu and Chinese restaurant near Kalaw market, cooking in a comforting home-made style. The full Danu meal is the way to go — rich pork curry, well-seasoned fish curry, mustard salad, roasted pork salad and a pleasantly sour pork bamboo shoot soup, with crispy smoked pork the standout. Portions are large and it pairs well with Kalaw's cold weather. The street is narrow but parking is manageable, and they sell small plants too.
